The Organ and Choir, St Paul's Church, Canterbury

The Restoration of the 1900 Forster & Andrew's Organ at St Paul's Church, Canterbury

Organ Facade 2

In 1900 Forster & Andrew's of Hull installed a magnificent two manual and pedal Pipe Organ into St Paul's [without the walls] Church, Canterbury.
In the one hundred or so years the organ has served the church, it has not been overhauled or significantly cleaned, and is showing signs of deterioration.

In January 2008, we commissioned F. H. Browne & Sons of Ash to completely overhaul and enlarge the instrument.

This Website follows and reports on that process.

The Restoration and enlargement of the instrument is now complete

We would like to acknolwedge the support of the ON Organ Fund who dontated £350.00 towards the installation of the Pedal Trombone.
